The
institute is a pioneer in the field of social work
education in the Asia-Pacific region. It has made
a significant contribution in the area of social policy,
planning, intervention strategies and human resource
development. It offers postgraduate and doctoral programmes
in social sciences, personnel management, industrial
relations and health, hospital management and social
work. The institute is well equipped, with nine teaching
departments, eight research units, two resource units
and resource cells. |
