There
is a lot of chaos in the libraries over the exact location
of any item in the library. Most of them are misplaced or
lost in such a scenario. Hence it is required that the items
be arranged in a systematic way. Even in this case we have
to remember the shelf number in order to locate the item,
whereas the librarian does not have so much time for doing
this searching business. Especially in huge libraries which
span across a couple of floors it is difficult to locate
the shelf itself ; forget about items. The Library map module
provides an efficient way of locating a particular item
in a library. Using the library map module the librarian
can get a graphical representation of the various shelves,
rooms or floors of the library. |
